Sami Hilley named Head Volleyball Coach
Aoka-Ramsey Athletics has announced the hiring of Sami Hilley as Head Volleyball Coach for the Golden Rams. Hilley comes to Anoka-Ramsey from Champlin Park schools, where she works in special education and is the head coach of the boys high school varsity volleyball team. She also served as the girls 9th grade head coach, and assisted the girls varsity. Hilley and her family are well-known in the Twin Cities volleyball community. Softball finishes season 8-16 overall
The Anoka-Ramsey Softball team finished their 2026 season with two losses to Minnesota West, and a 8-16 overall record. The Golden Rams fell 12-10 in the first game, and 10-4 in the second game. In game one Anoka-Ramsey held a 4-3 lead after the top of the third inning, but MN West tallied five runs in the bottom half. Softball sweeps Ridgewater
The Anoka-Ramsey Softball team picked up a two game sweep over Ridgewater on Tuesday afternoon in their final regular season home games, winning the first game 8-1 and the second 11-3 in six innings. Anoka-Ramsey got a stellar pitching performance in game one from Cordelia Johnson who threw a complete game giving up just three hits and striking out 13. Baseball Splits Weekend Series with Ridgewater
The Anoka-Ramsey Baseball team split their 4-game series with Ridgewater over the weekend, dropping their two road games by scores of 23-15 and 8-5, before returning home and winning 4-2 and 9-8. Golden Rams split with Rochester
The Anoka-Ramsey Softball split their two games vs Rochester on Sunday afternoon, winning 4-3 before falling 5-2 in the second game. Francie Gregor went 3 for 4 in game one with two RBI, and Delainey Johnson was 2 for 3 at the plate. Johnson and Gregor each had a double as well. Softball Narrowly Falls to Ridgewater
The Anoka-Ramsey Softball team dropped two MCAC contests to Ridgewater, 12-11 in the first game and 9-4 in the second. The Warriors rallied with four runs in the bottom of the seventh to take game one. Madison Abernathy and Cordelia Johnson each had two hits. Baseball Sweeps Home Series vs Central Lakes
The Anoka-Ramsey Baseball team picked up two wins over Central Lakes in MCAC play on Monday, April 6. Anoka-Ramsey won the first game 7-3 thanks to five runs in the bottom of the sixth inning. Alowonle Named 1st Team All-America; Longs 3rd Team All-America
Anoka-Ramsey Women's Basketball had two players named to the NJCAA Division III All- America teams for their performance during the 2025-26 season. Mariam Alowonle was named 1st team All-America, while Anisa Longs was named 3rd team All-America. Alowonle averaged 18.2 points and 10 rebounds per game while shooting 54.3 percent from the field. Tollefson Named NJCAA DIII Player of the Week
Collin Tollefson was named the NJCAA Division III Player of the Week for his performance last weekend at the plate. In four games, Tollefson was 9 for 14 at the plate with four home runs, 13 RBI, and nine runs scored. Against MN North Vermilion, Tollefson went 3 for 3 with five RBI, and against Riverland Tollefson was 4 for 4 with two home runs and four RBI. The Anoka-Ramsey Baseball team went 3-1 over the weekend, getting a win over MN North Vermilion, two wins over MN North Hibbing, and falling to Riverland. Golden Rams Conclude Season as NJCAA National Runner-Up
The Anoka-Ramsey Women's Basketball team ended their season advancing to the NJCAA Division III Championship game before falling 51-41 to Minnesota West. The Golden Rams finish the season 24-6 overall. Alowonle, Longs Earn NJCAA All-Region Honors
Mariam Alowonle and Anisa Longs were named to the NJCAA All-Region XIII team for their performance during the 2025-26 season. All-Region teams are voted on by the league coaches, and are comprised of the top 10 players from the Region. Alowonle averaged 17.9 points and 9.8 rebounds per game while shooting 54.8 percent from the field. Longs averaged 13.2 points, 5.1 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game. Preston Thielke Earns MCAC Honors
Anoka-Ramey Men's Basketball player Preston Thielke was named MCAC All-Southern Division, and All-MCAC on Tuesday as voted on by the league's coaches. Thielke led Anoka-Ramsey in scoring at 15.4 points per game, good for 14th in the MCAC, while also leading the Golden Rams in rebounds at 8.1 per game, 4th in the league. Men's Basketball Falls in Semifinals, Ends Season 21-8 Overall
The Anoka-Ramsey Men's Basketball team beat Northland 81-71 in the NJCAA Region XIII Quarterfinals last week, before falling to eventual champion Riverland 85-75 in the semifinals. Golden Rams Win NJCAA Region XIIIB Championship
The Anoka-Ramsey Women's Basketball team won the NJCAA Region XIIIB Championship on Sunday with a convincing 77-57 victory over Northland. The Golden Rams previously beat MN North Vermilion 73-57 in the semifinals. Anoka-Ramsey led 18-6 after the first quarter of the championship game, jumping out to a 7-0 lead early on. Second half rally propels Men's Basketball to win
The Anoka-Ramsey Men's Basketball team trailed St. Cloud Tech 67-49 with 13 minutes left in the second half on Wednesday night before rallying for a 87-79 win.
