Softball finishes season 8-16 overall

The Anoka-Ramsey Softball team finished their 2026 season with two losses to Minnesota West, and a 8-16 overall record.
The Golden Rams fell 12-10 in the first game, and 10-4 in the second game.
In game one Anoka-Ramsey held a 4-3 lead after the top of the third inning, but MN West tallied five runs in the bottom half. Anoka-Ramsey trailed 10-7 going into the sixth and knotted the score at 10-all. But two runs in the bottom of the sixth gave MN West the lead again and the final margin.
Alexandra Rysdam went 2 for 3 at the plate with two runs scored and two RBI.
Delainey Johnson was 2 for 5, and Madison Abernathy drew four walks.
Game two saw the Golden Rams get 10 hits but manage just four runs.
Delainey Johnson and Abernathy each went 3 for 4 at the plate with
Abernathy getting two doubles, and Johnson a home run.
