Softball Narrowly Falls to Ridgewater

The Anoka-Ramsey Softball team dropped two MCAC contests to Ridgewater, 12-11 in the first game and 9-4 in the second.
The Warriors rallied with four runs in the bottom of the seventh to take game one. Madison Abernathy and Cordelia Johnson each had two hits.
In total, eight players recorded at least one hit for the Golden Rams.
Abernathy, Kaely Saporito, and Mackenzie Nyholm each drove in two runs.
Francie Gregor scored four runs after walking four times.
Alexandra Rysdam was solid in the circle, striking out seven.
But the Golden Rams committed six errors in the field.
In game two, The Golden Rams couldn't muster enough offense as Ridgewater scored three runs in the bottom half of the third and fourth innings.
Addy Fowlkes went 2 for 3 at the plate.
