Anoka-Ramsey Celebrates National Girls & Women in Sports Day

The Anoka-Ramsey Athletic Department is proud to celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day on February 4, 2026.

Anoka-Ramsey hosts four intercollegiate women's teams, and one co-ed team with an approximate total of 50 female student-athletes participating in Athletics.

Anoka-Ramsey has a rich history of success in women's sports, particularly women's basketball who has won seven NJCAA Division III national championships.

In recent years, the Golden Rams have produced NJCAA All-Americans in Women's Basketball and Softball.

Athletic Director Jessica Pelzel serves on numerous NJCAA committees to advance junior college athletics, and women athletes and administators, on a national level.
