Aoka-Ramsey Athletics has announced the hiring of Sami Hilley as Head Volleyball Coach for the Golden Rams. Hilley comes to Anoka-Ramsey from Champlin Park schools, where she works in special education and is the head coach of the boys high school varsity volleyball team. She also served as the girls 9th grade head coach, and assisted the girls varsity. Hilley and her family are well-known in the Twin Cities volleyball community. The Anoka-Ramsey Women's Basketball team began the MCAC Southern Division portion of the schedule by beating Ridgewater, before falling to MN West in a matchup of nationally ranked teams. The Golden Rams went on the road to beat Ridgewater 75-53 behind 22 points and 14 rebounds from Mariam Alowonle , and 20 points and five assists from Anisa Longs .
