Please join us for the following Dialect and Accent Workshops.

Twin Cities Dialect Coach, Gillian C. Rosewell, leads an introduction to accent acquisition. Based on Knight-Thompson Speechwork's skills-based approach to speech and accent training for actors, these workshops will focus on understanding what accents are and the skills needed to develop them. With a blend of discussion, exercise, and context building, students will walk away with an understanding of the muscles that shape speech, the patterns that make up accents, and the tools they need to adopt a new accent.
