TRRS Welcomes author Anton Treuer

The Two Rivers Reading Series is proud to welcome award-winning author Anton Treuer on Wednesday, October 21 at 1 p.m. in the Legacy Room (Rapids Campus)! Hundreds of Anoka-Ramsey students are reading his novel Where Wolves Don't Die, for which Treuer won a 2025 Minnesota Book Award. Birchbark books says the book is "both taut thriller and a raw, tender coming-of-age story, about one Ojibwe boy learning to love himself through the love of his family around him." Treuer is a dynamic speaker and also a prolific author of nonfiction about Ojibwe language and culture and contemporary Indigenous life.
