Preston Thielke Earns MCAC Honors
Anoka-Ramey Men's Basketball player Preston Thielke was named MCAC All-Southern Division, and All-MCAC on Tuesday as voted on by the league's coaches. Thielke led Anoka-Ramsey in scoring at 15.4 points per game, good for 14th in the MCAC, while also leading the Golden Rams in rebounds at 8.1 per game, 4th in the league. Thielke shot 56.7 percent overall (7th in the MCAC), 39.3 percent from the three-point line, and 83.5 percent from the free throw line (3rd in the MCAC). All


Tough Mudder: More Than Mud
Mud squelches in your shoes, oozing out like wet play doh. Dirt dried and soaked again cakes your arms and legs: signs of the many obstacles you bulldozed your way through. The sweat of 15 kilometers now behind you, a teammate hoists a weighty medal over your neck. You wear it alongside your orange headband with pride. The mud and sweat don’t concern you—you’re smiling with the teammates who braved this race with you. How could such joy possibly coexist with this discomfort?


Four Golden Rams Earn MCAC Honors
The Anoka-Ramsey Women's Basketball team had four players recognized by the MCAC coaches for their play during the 2025-26 season. Mariam Alowonle - 1st Team All-South Division, 1st Team All-MCAC, All-Defensive. Alowonle led Anoka-Ramsey in scoring at 17.9 points per game (1st in the MCAC), rebounds with 9.8 per game (4th in the MCAC), blocks (1.4), and field goal percentage (.548 - 1st in the MCAC) in leading the Golden Rams to the NJCAA Region XIIIB Championship.
